How we work

From signing to a system your people can use.

Signing is the start of the work we do together. Inovium helps your team turn Workforce Management, HR and Talent requirements into applications people can use in their daily work.

Experienced consultants guide the decisions, build and test working solutions, and refine them with your feedback through agile delivery cycles. The journey continues through go-live and stabilization into the support, administration and improvements that keep your applications useful.

Illustrative consultants and client HR, operations and application owners mapping an implementation together.

A shared view of the work ahead

A successful implementation depends on understanding how your people work. That might mean timekeeping, schedules and payroll handoffs, or employee information, hiring and Talent processes. The applications and processes you choose shape the work we do together.

Inovium brings product knowledge and delivery experience. Your team brings the business context and the decisions that make the solution fit. Throughout the journey, we keep both sides involved in work they can review.

Experience Applied

Experience Applied, one working cycle at a time

Experience Applied brings experienced consultants and agile delivery together. Our people ask about the exception behind a rule, the information another system needs and who will maintain a process after it goes live.

We put that experience to work in manageable cycles. Build part of the solution, test realistic examples, review the results together and refine the next piece of work. Your feedback helps shape the application while it is being developed and as your needs change.

  1. Build

Configure the next useful part of the solution.

  2. Test

Check real tasks, exceptions and connected records.

  3. Review

Show the result to the people who know the work.

  4. Refine

Use feedback to improve the solution and next priorities.

Repeat the cycle as testing and feedback shape the work. Return to Build.

The customer journey

Your journey with Inovium

These six stages show how the work progresses. They can overlap: a test result, a question from a user or a change in the business can lead to another build, test, review and refine cycle.

Choose a stage to see what happens, who is involved and what your team can review.

Stage 1 · Signing and kickoff

Start with a shared plan

What happens

After signing, we turn the agreed work into a practical starting plan. We bring the people involved together, confirm the applications and processes in scope, and identify what the first delivery work needs.

Inovium

  • Organize the kickoff and first delivery priorities.
  • Identify the access, information and decisions needed to begin.

Your team

  • Introduce business owners and the people who will review the work.
  • Share current priorities, source information and relevant constraints.

What you can review

  • The starting workplan and first priorities.
  • Who handles each part of the work and the decisions ahead.

Stage 2 · Understanding your operation

Work through the real situations

What happens

We explore the tasks, rules and exceptions the application needs to handle. A missed punch, a schedule change, a new hire or a role change helps connect a requirement to the work people actually do.

Inovium

  • Work through processes, data and connections with your specialists.
  • Bring practical options and open questions into the design.

Your team

  • Explain the expected result and provide representative examples.
  • Confirm business rules, ownership and the priorities for implementation.

What you can review

  • Process examples and proposed configuration choices.
  • Data and system handoffs, with open questions visible.

Stage 3 · Implementation cycles

Build, test, review and refine

What happens

We configure the application, connect the systems in scope and test the work in manageable pieces. Your team reviews working results. We use that feedback to adjust the configuration, resolve questions and repeat the cycle with the next priorities.

Inovium

  • Build and test the configuration and connections in each cycle.
  • Demonstrate results, investigate issues and refine the work.

Your team

  • Try realistic tasks and review whether the results fit your operation.
  • Explain gaps and make the decisions needed for the next cycle.

What you can review

  • Working application examples and test results.
  • Changes made after feedback, unresolved issues and next priorities.

Stage 4 · Preparing for go-live

Prepare the people and connected processes

What happens

We bring the pieces together and check complete workflows, from the starting record to its final handoff. We prepare users and the people handling administration, and work through the data move and transition plan. Gaps found in these checks return to the working cycles for refinement.

Inovium

  • Coordinate testing, knowledge transfer and transition preparation.
  • Show readiness findings and help resolve the remaining gaps.

Your team

  • Review complete workflows and prepare the people affected.
  • Decide whether the organization is ready to go live and approve the transition.

What you can review

  • Workflow checks, data reconciliation and readiness findings.
  • The transition plan, responsibilities and remaining decisions.

Stage 5 · Go-live and stabilization

Support the move into everyday use

What happens

As people begin using the live application, we work through the questions and exceptions that appear in real transactions. We investigate issues, make the changes in scope and check their effect. The team then settles into the support and administration model you have chosen.

Inovium

  • Help with the agreed transition and stabilization work.
  • Investigate early issues, check corrections and document what support needs to know.

Your team

  • Share examples from live use and identify the business impact.
  • Review priorities and help users adopt the working processes.

What you can review

  • Issue findings, corrections and checks from live use.
  • Open work and the people handling ongoing support and administration.

Stage 6 · Ongoing value and support

Keep the application useful as work changes

What happens

Business rules, teams and products continue to change. We help maintain useful configuration and review available capabilities against your actual work. Selected improvements move through testing and review before adoption. Ongoing support can also carry the product administration covered by your agreement.

Inovium

  • Handle the support, configuration and administration work covered by your agreement.
  • Evaluate available capabilities and help test and adopt useful improvements.

Your team

  • Bring forward changes in business needs and priorities.
  • Decide which improvements to pursue and review their fit with daily work.

What you can review

  • Configuration changes and their effect on the processes you use.
  • Improvement options, relevant releases and the work needed to adopt them.

Choose who carries the ongoing administration

Inovium can handle the product administration covered by your support agreement, so you do not have to staff those covered roles internally. You can also keep your own administrators or share the work with us.

In each model, your business owners continue to decide how processes should work and which priorities matter. Agreeing who handles requests, configuration and recurring tasks gives each team a clear view of its work.

Questions about working together

Can priorities change during implementation?

Yes. Working reviews often reveal a better approach or a requirement that needs more attention. We discuss the effect on configuration, connected processes and planned work with your team, then agree the next priorities. Changes return through testing and review so their effect is understood.

Who needs to be involved from our organization?

Business owners make process decisions, and representative users help test real tasks. HR, workforce and payroll specialists review the work that affects them. Technical teams help with access, source information and connected systems. The people involved depend on your scope; we plan their contributions around the decisions and checks the project needs.

Do we need to employ our own product administrators?

You can use Inovium for the product administration covered by your agreement without staffing those roles internally. You can also retain your administrators or share responsibilities with us. We discuss the work you want covered and how requests, business decisions and configuration changes will be handled.

Can we work with Inovium if our application is already live?

Yes. We can start with the configuration, administration or support work you need today. We can also review available product capabilities against the way your team works and discuss an upgrade or migration when that is the next useful step. The starting point follows your applications, priorities and the work you want us to carry.

Where are you in the journey?

Tell us which applications you use or plan to implement, what your people need them to do and the work you want help with. We can talk through the next step and the responsibilities that suit your team.
